What is Leaf Coat?
Leaf Coat is a ready-to-use product that strengthens the plant and protects it from unwanted insects and mold.
Leaf Coat is a product made from natural rubber that has been developed to limit evaporation.
A few hours after application, a very thin elastic layer forms around the leaves.
This natural rubber forms a protective, permeable, self-degradable layer on the leaf while allowing air and light to pass through.
However, this thin layer is effective enough to protect the plant from pests and diseases.
How can I use Leaf Coat?
Leaf Coat does not need to be mixed with water, it is ready to use. For best results, we recommend applying Leaf Coat using a sprayer.
Spray the leaves and flowers of the plant completely, repeating this approximately twice a week. Leaf Coat can be used up to two weeks before the end of the flowering period.
Note: Leaf Coat is not absorbed by the leaves and therefore does not affect the taste of the fruit.
Protective layer formed by Leaf Coat
If the plants are in an atmosphere that is too humid (above 28 degrees Celsius), they can lose a large amount of moisture through their leaves.
By applying Leaf Coat, a natural rubber is formed around the leaf, which prevents the plant from excessive "sweating".
On the other hand, Leaf Coat can be used at lower temperatures (especially in winter) to form a small layer around the leaf that protects against the cold.
The natural rubber formed by Leaf Coat helps maintain temperature.
